When we got the death sentence for Lucy 2 years ago we figured 6 months tops.  Thanks to the care and comfort that you provided and helped us provide we got 2 more years.  Until the last 10 days she was happy, loving and loved.  Every one of you took part in that and we appreciate you more than we could ever express.  I know it was what you do for a living but it never seemed that way, she had a good life.

Dear Dr. Cotton, Thank you and the staff for taking care of Camo for 16 years. She came to me with a head injury from being in a truck motor. She lived a long happy life in our woods chasing and watching our wildlife.

Dear Dr. Cotton and Shannon, You both are amazing. We really thought we were on the verge of losing our sweet Yogi and now he is like a puppy again. He clearly felt so bad and now he is so happy and playful. Thank you so much for your knowledge, abilities, and care — you are truly appreciated.

Dr. Cotton and staff, thank you so much for the grace and kindness you showed to me and my boy Buddy today. It was greatly appreciated!

To our dear friends at Brookwood Veterinary Clinic, there aren’t enough words to express our appreciation for the donation you made to the SPCA of Wake County, in memory of our Sweet Sophie. Your team provided loving care to her throughout her life. We were heartbroken to let her go and still miss her. SPCA of Wake County is a foundation that is very special to us. Dear Dr. Cotton and the staff of Brookwood, Thank you for the support and care of Amber during her last weeks of life. We loved her and are so very sad to not have her in our lives. We know she is happier now.

Dr. Cotton and friendly staff, we want to thank you for your care for our dog Miles for 17 years. You all cared so deeply, explained issues when needed, and were a great vet to come visit. We sure miss Miles and will miss our visits to Brookwood.

We would like to say a very sincere thank you for the kindness and compassion shown to us as we had to face the end of life for our Holly. She was the best dog and we are so broken-hearted. We appreciate your care and help as she passed.

Thank you for the thirteen wonderful years that you gave Bailey. Words cannot express how grateful we are. A very special thank you to Shannon for helping us through our worst day.

We wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the entire Brookwood staff for years of being there for us and for Toby. We know he is a handful to say the least, and that we as owners can also be a handful. All of you have always been there with tremendous patience, understanding and willingness to help us and our dog. He means everything to us and you all keep him healthy and happy. Shout out to Shannon for being his boss at the vet and for being helpful beyond description.

Dr. Cotton, I just wanted to let you know that I appreciated the card you sent me. Our hearts were broken that the time had come to say goodbye to our loyal lab Cooper. He was the picture-perfect dog — friendly, gentle, and loyal. We were so lucky to call him ours for 11 years. I will miss his mealtime nose-nudge reminders, his inability to bark without jumping, and just having him close by me. Thank you to you and your staff for the compassion and understanding you showed us from the moment I called to when we said our final goodbye.

A very special thank you for the kindness and compassion shown to me and my husband from all the Brookwood staff when we had to say goodbye to our sweet Maggie. Vinny is adjusting better each day to his new lifestyle without Maggie. Losing a pet that you have had for nearly 18 years, as many of you know, is such a heartbreaking experience. We loved Maggie enough to set her free and made sure her last day was not her worst day. We sincerely appreciate your kindness.
